Level 1- New Students
Levels 2, 3, 4- Returning/Experienced Students

Pre-Hip Hop, Hip Hop 1, Hip Hop 2, Hip Hop 3, Hip Hop 4, Boys Hip Hop and Teen Hip Hop
Recreational classes that teach the fundamentals of bboying/bgirling, choreography, and popping with a traditional dance studio type
appeal.  Routine will be learned and performed.

Bboy/Bgirl 1, Bboy/Bgirl 2, Bboy/Bgirl 3
Bboying and Bgirling is what is commonly referred to as breakdancing. Students taking these classes will learn coordination, style,
flexibility, upper body strength, and rhythm.   Breaking is one of the most improvisational dance styles, allowing for each dancer to
customize his or her routine with athleticism and imagination. The people who perform this style of dance are known as b-boys or b-girls.

Kids Popping, Teen Popping
Popping classes are designed to teach rhythmic contraction of the dancer's muscles and pantomimed movements. Popping can be
concentrated to specific body parts such as arm pops, leg pops, chest pops and neck pops, which can vary in intensity.  Routines and
technique will be learned.

Advanced Choreography/Adult Ladies Hip Hop
Choreography classes are designed to teach students a sequence of specified urban-style movements.  Many of these movements can
be seen in the mainstream media and music videos.  Students are taught to employ emotion into their movement.

Krump
Students taking krump are introduced to a type of street dance that is characterized by free, expressive, exaggerated, and highly energetic
moves involving the arms, head, legs, chest, and feet. Krump is fast, aggressive and rarely choreographed.

Locking
Locking means freezing from a fast movement and "locking" in a certain position, holding that position for a short while and then
continuing in the same speed as before. The movements were originally danced to funk music and are generally large and exaggerated,
and often very rhythmic and tightly synced with the music.

Jazz Funk
It's a little bit hip-hop, a little bit jazz.  Students will learn classical jazz technique combined with street moves to current radio hits.  This is
a great class to take in conjunction with a Hip Hop class.

Contemporary
Students learning Contemporary will use hip hop dance, ballet, and jazz technique to convey a portrait of movement.
