TUITION POLICIES
At Funk Lab, we want to ensure a seamless and convenient payment process for our families. Please review the following information regarding our tuition and payment policy.
Automated Payments– Automated payments are a requirement for all enrolled families. Credit cards will be automatically charged on the 1st of each month. However, if you prefer not to use auto draft, you can opt to pay by check or cash before the 1st of each month. Please note that even if you choose an alternate payment method, a valid credit card must be on file.
Payment Processing– In cases where credit card payments cannot be processed on the 1st of the month, a second attempt will be made on the 3rd of the month. Should your account remain overdue after the 15th of the month, a late fee of $20 will be applied and participation in classes will be temporarily paused until the outstanding payment is resolved.
Tuition Continuation– Tuition fees will continue to accrue until May 1, 2024. Tuition is charged while the student remains enrolled, regardless of attendance. Tuition is charged the same amount regardless of the number of classes that month. Our tuition is a flat seasonal cost divided between 9 months. Weather related cancellations will be rescheduled. Makeup classes are available for all classes.
Refund Policy– Please be aware that there are no refunds for any reason. Once payment is made, it is non-refundable.
Opting Out of Credit Card Payments– Families who chose to opt out of the credit card payment process may do so by submitting post-dated monthly checks for the season. However, please note that a $10 administrative fee will be applied to each monthly payment.
Costume Fees (November 1)- Costume fees are due November 1. Your credit card will be billed accordingly. Costumes are priced at $50. Unpaid costume fees will result in your costume order not being placed at the same time as your class.
Recital Fee (February 1)- February 1, the recital fee of $50 per family will be charged to your card. This fee covers both your participation and recital tickets, souvenir bag and program. Should you prefer to pay for these items separately, please use cash or a check before the withdrawal date.
Class Drop Policy– If you decide to drop a class, you must notify us IN WRITING at least 7 days before your last class. Tuition charges will continue to accrue until written notification is received and up for 7 days after notification. To avoid being billed for the subsequent month, class drops must be completed by the 23rd of the month. We are unable to retroactively remove charges or refund payments if families fail to drop from classes within the specified time frames.
